A man in Michigan is facing a sentence of 2-5 years in prison for trying to drive through a police officer while in a Burger King drive-thru. The incident happened in February of 2013.

Officers were called to the Burger King when the allegedly drunk male driver was causing a scene while in the drive-thru. The officers who showed up to the scene directed the man to pull over his car and park. The driver initially appeared to be following the officer’s directions, only to rush forward, knocking down one of the officers, and turning on to a public road.

The driver was found to have multiple previous DUI convictions as well as a BAC (blood alcohol content) of 0.25. The legal BAC limit for drivers is 0.08

Erin Brockovich will face a misdemeanor charge of for operating a boat while under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested by a marina warden on  Friday, June 7th with and given two breath tests, which found her with a BAC content twice over the legal limit of .08 At the time of her arrest she was operating a 28-foot Cobra motor boat on the Colorado River reservoir near the Hoover Dam.

She could face six months in jail, a $1,000 fine, up to 96 hours of community service and court-ordered alcohol and drug counseling if she is convicted of driving under the influence as a first offense in Nevada

1,021 drivers passed through a sobriety checkpoint in Burbank this past Saturday, June 1, 2013. Out of the 1,021 drivers zero were arrested for DUI.

The checkpoint was situated at Glenoaks Boulevard north of Alameda Avenue from the hours of 9pm to 2am.

A man was arrested for a DUI accident in New Mexico. He is reported to have been under the influence of alcohol and operating a vehicle while having sex with a female companion. His companion was ejected from the vehicle at the time of the accident. She survived with lacerations to her face and head.

The driver was found trying to evade the police by hiding behind a cactus.

A man suspected of DUI crashed into a CHP patrol car last Saturday in the city of La Verne near Foothill Boulevard. The man was driving a Mercedes Benz when he lost control of his vehicle and rear-ended the CHP patrol car. The two officers in the patrol car were left with minor injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics ended up transporting all three individuals, the two officers and the suspected DUI driver, to an area hospital.  After being released from the hospital, the suspected driver was booked at San Dimas Jail on suspicion of felony DUI.
